Chapman Good, Sr.

Associate

Chapman can handle your criminal, civil, probate, and family law matters, and he looks forwarding to helping you through difficult times. He's handled criminal matters ranging from DUI to attempted murder. He can talk you through the charges, defenses, and potential punishment you may face. He will work to help you understand the potentially life altering issues you are facing, and devise the right course action to protect your rights. Chapman has also handled civil matters including real estate contracts, personal property suits, and business disputes. He can help you determine if there is any liability, and what you may expect, or be facing depending on the specific facts of your potential lawsuit. On many occasions he has assisted families in probate matters and helped grieving individuals get a handle on their loved one’s affairs. Finally, Chapman continues to fight for parent's rights in child support, custody, visitation, and divorce matters. These are some of the most trying times in a person’s life. Chapman has been through this himself, and will help you navigate the legal issues surrounding this new chapter in your life.

Chapman began his professional life in 2005 as a United States Marine. He was a Rifleman that twice deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom. He started his legal career as a paralegal just after he left the Marine Corps in 2013. In the years since leaving the Corps, Chapman has worked on matters and participated in trials that covered everything from anti-trust to patents. Before earning his law degree, Chapman spent eight years as a paralegal in a "big law" type firm. Once licensed to practice law, he worked for a local law firm for two years, before switching to his new firm, Butler Moss O’Neal PLC.

Chapman received his Bachelor of Arts degree from George Mason University in 2016. He furthered his education with a law degree from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. At Scalia Law, Chapman was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board, the Moot Court Board, and the Mason Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic (M-VETS).

Chapman is licensed to practice in Virginia.
